Fantastic! Rogue River Rafting has NEVER been as much fun as it is with Kari, Tim, and crew. We have rafted with them every year for the last 6 years, and we have had a blast knowing that a full day of fun and relaxation are ahead. We have taken our children on every trip by O'Brien's Rogue River Outfitters, and it is wonderful to see how the guides treat (and are treated!) like family; whether it be picking enormous blackberries at the water's edge while floating in a kayak, to holding and engaging the younger (4 months old!). Since we have loved rafting on the Rogue River with the O'Brien Rogue River Rafting team so much, we have brought all of our friends down for fantastic weekend getaways, and they have all loved it as much as we do! If you want a personalized, engaging trip with a knowledgeable, professional staff that puts your safety and FUN foremost, then absolutely look no further. Oh, and the freshly prepared meals are fantastic too! :)
A Great Time! This company is fantastic!! O'Brien's provides a very enjoyable, fun, and safe raft ride down the Rogue River. They are personable, friendly, and helpful. The lunch they provided was so delicious!! I believe most, if not all, of the food was organic - it was very healthful and so tasty. A real treat! On top of that, they had good snacks, as well! They are very knowledgeable about the river, and they have years of experience. Everyone in our party had such a wonderful time - from my elderly father all the way down to my 8 year old son. Highly recommended!!!
Great Fun! We rafted the white waters of the Deschutes River in Central Oregon. Kayaked Deception Pass in the Puget Sound north of Seattle as well as canoed in the Willamette River, as fun as those adventures have been, our most memorable trips have been with the O'Brien Rogue River Rafting team. I have been privileged to have gone on several trips with the O'Brien's Rogue River Rafting team. Each time was even more fun than the previous! One such time, under Tim and Kari's guidance, I took a Tahiti down through a great stretch of river. Never once did I worry about the rapids we went through, because I hit each one as instructed. Later, when talking with some friends, they were amazed that I went cruised areas where they capsized. That emphasized to me, the expertise that the O'Brien's Rogue River Rafting team has, not only as guides of the river, but as quality instructors in shooting the rapids. I have gone down the river with my family, and friends as well as with co-workers, under O'Brien's Rogue River Rafting team's guidance. I am looking forward in going another time with Tim and Kari to not only enjoy the beauty of the flora and fauna, but marvel once again at the majestic beauty and power of the river. It is like riding a horse. One feels the power of the animal, but knows how to rein it in for a proper ride. That is how I felt when rafting with the O'Briens. PS Did I mention that Kari makes great cookies? While we are floating down the majestic Rogue, Kari would put out of the cooler some of the most awesome cookies. What a great treat, to lay back and look at the most stunning sceneries and enjoy some cookies with a refreshing drink.
Seniors rock too! Being seniors, safety on the river was our first concern. Before each rapid,one of the O'Brien guides explains exactly how to approach and ride the wave.We have moved off the raft and into a Kayak. We will always use the O'Brien team. With our full day trip we received a gourmet lunch on the river bank.We can't stop talking about our trip thanks to Tim and Kari.
Best experience of my life! This company really does it right- they are safe, fun, and they do things the right way. They are a family company, and you feel right at home with them on the water. Oh, and the food? Awesome!! This was by far one of the best experiences of my life- one that I'll repeat for many years to come!

More fun than I could have imagined! Our family is quite adventurous, but had never been whitewater rafting before. Actually, my teenage boys and husband are the more adventurous ones and I sometimes tag along. But I nervously planned this full day rafting trip, hoping that everyone would have a good time. It was amazing! Tim and Kari O'Brien are so helpful and easy-going. I felt like I was leaving good friends behind when we left. The day was warm so it made the wild rapids even more enjoyable. Kari had a kayak available for us which was a hit with my men. I opted out, but maybe next time.... Even though we had our camera and video camera nearby in ziplock bags, we were happy that Tim and Kari were also taking photos. I will be adding mine soon to share with everyone. I highly recommend this trip!

Thrill of a Lifetime! Hey people, when you go to Oregon you have to stop in Grants Pass and go rafting on the Rogue River. You will never regret taking the time to do this. It is a thrill of a lifetime. The whole family will love it.

The Best Time! Hey guys this is Ben. I just wanted to say I had the best time out there and had an even better time "riding the bull". A Superb Day! The trip was the high point of our visit to Oregon, hands down. I told Peter last night, I wish Kari was my best friend. He agreed! The photo is so great and I have posted it on facebook and so many people have commented on how wonderful it is. We will recommend you to EVERYONE who heads up your way.
