Trip Orientation for Campers

Tim and Kari O'B   On the first day of the Raft Camp Session, O'Brien's Rogue River Outfitters holds an orientation for the upcoming trip. Campers will meet at Indian Mary Park after parents have dropped them off and said good-bye.

We will introduce campers to each other, to the safety procedures and expectations, river and water safety, the camping itinerary, and all details of the trip.

Campers will also be instructed with the proper fit and wear of PFD's (lifejackets).

Orientation is a great time for campers to ask any questions they might have about the trip.

We feel the Raft Camp Orientation is vital to the success and enjoyment of the camp as it eliminates any questions and safety expectations are clearly stated to campers.

The orientation will last about 45 minutes and then it is time for the woods and water in beautiful Southern Oregon.
